    That looks great! I have been looking at tweeds, but I'm finding the materials I find are lighter than I would think to use for jackets. Would you say the tweed you found was on the thicker side?

    That ginger waistcoat is fantastic!

    I love the way you slanted the pocket flaps. It's little things like that which so often set lovely vintage clothes apart from modern ones.

    Thanks, Richard and everyone. These vintage garments are what I really like. Few modern made jackets and waistcoats have the style and elegance that I love. I am actually near finishing a kilt jacket from another large piece of vintage Harris tweed. This will be a rather different jacket, but borrowing elements of many vintage examples. I will share images when it is done.
