Oxblood shoes/boots, anyone?

Anyone owns a pair of oxblood shoes/boots to go with your kilts? If so, anyone want to pull up a picture of you in oxblood? I'm thinking of trying to find a pair of oxblood brogue/balmoral boots if I'm lucky.

I have a pair of oxblood red wing iron rangers. Been contemplating having my buddy craft me up a matching belt and enlisting one of the fine craftsman we all know of here to venture intothe oxblood sporran domain.

I've seen those oxblood iron rangers. They look real nice!

Any chance it's Donnie of Wyvernleather to make an oxblood sporran for you?

Ah, I love Donny's work. I have a black and tan sea bass sporran I have posted here. Also love Articifer and tstar leather. So many exceptional craftsman around. When I get closer to pulling the trigger I will have some thinking to do.

Bought a pair of Bostonian toe-cap oxfords in the second-hand store for $25, and they looked in excellent condition; just like these:

But they had been sitting dry for so long, the surface of the leather started cracking and flaking off in the creases when I started wearing them

So I just keep applying a little black polish to darken the light suede flaked-off spots before the oxblood polish goes on.
