Yes, it is, and it happens surprisingly often on Xmarks. Robert also invented a Spark Arrestor for bee-hive burners that was widely used in British Columbia's Cariboo, I understand. The last spark was extinguished at the closure of a Quesnel sawmill in the 1970s.
