Passing of fellow XMarker
Rabble,
It is with sadness that we share the passing of XMarker, "McClef"; Trefor John Heyward.
Colleague and friend, Trefor served with distinction on this Forum.
He will be missed.
Rest in Peace, friend.

For those who may not know, Trefor (McClef), was one of "The Old Guard". Joining the forum on 26th of August 2006 and served as the very first staff member. This was back in the days when we called staff members "Forum Advocates".
Trefor continued to serve faithfully and honorably, in one position or another, finally retiring on the 8th of May 2015. An amazing 105 months of continuous service to X Marks. In his time here he amassed a total of 10,891 posts. A lot of those helping and advising other members.
I have altered Trefors' profile to reflect that he was not only a member of our "Honor Roll" but is now "In Rememberance".
He will be missed. He will be remembered.

Sad news tonight. I did not meet him, but he seemed to be "part of the furniture" on the forum and such a regular poster. RIP

Sad news indeed, when I first joined XMarks Trefor was here and was one of the first to welcome me. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, nonetheless he was a friend and will be missed.

Most sad, indeed. May he rest in peace, and sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. He will be sorely missed among the rabble, especially those of us who remember his many contributions.
