Hi, I use Legacy, current version is 8.0 (I believe). I like it, have used it for several years, but don't consider myself an expert, by any means. I do research on Ancestry, and it's relatively easy to export your tree in GEDCOM format. Just click on 'Help', and search for "export" or "GEDCOM". It will give you step-by-step instructions.
