I get requests often about alternate sporrans. Traditional ones just don't seem to fit with my kilts. My answer is to find small plastic "D" rings which open. I then use a small camera bag or small "fanny pack". cuting off the straps, and re-sewing webbing tabs back on with "quick disconnect" buckles. This allows the bag to hang in the right location and quickly come off when not needed.
My favorite is an "Ambassodor" sport model in black ballistic nylon. Not too large but with enough compartments to hold a lot of STUFF.
I guess I should post a pic of my sporran. I'll do that as soon as I get a chance.

I wear the kilt because: Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

Eeeek! Thanks for that, Muddy, but the idea is to look at David's excellent sporran, not me!
Yes, as you probably know, I am a great believer in the importance of colour co-ordination for us kilt wearers, and the colours there do work well.

There are more Pictures of the Sporrans Sten Rune and I make in my Gallery on pages 1 and 2. They look small but will swallow the most things including
Mobiles
Car keys
Coin purse
Creditcard wallet
digital Camera
Swiss army knife
I've heard that people are overloading them....Watch your backs guys
Ps I just want to add that I think a kilt isn't complete without a sporran.(I've always thought that.Even before Sten Rune and I made our own )They are in fact the original Bum bag. They were worn at the side to begin with. Then with the advent of the modern "little kilt" they migrated to the front.
I swing mine to the side when walking in the woods....The sporran that is ...Oh!Behave...
