HRH wearing his new kilt
HRH The Prince Charles and Duke of Rothesay has a new kilt during a visit to Bute Fabrics yesterday.
http://www.buteman.co.uk/news/local-...geLayoutPP3.ot
This is a large setting of Prince Charles Edward with a broad black herringbone selvedge and based, less the selvedge arrangement, on a specimen c1790 in the STA collection.
I did the research and arranged the setting, cloth woven by Elliots and gifted by the STA. The kilt was made by Kinloch Andersons and is box-pleat to the light blue.

What a wonderful gift from the STA. I've got to become famous one day.

The more money you have to spend on stuff, the more stuff people give you for free.
Strange paradox in my opinion.

That is gorgeous!
And impeccably worn, as one would expect.
Congratulations, it must be gratifying to see your work bear such wonderful results.
