Thumbs up For Sale: Heavyweight Kilt in Green Shadow Tartan

    Sold!

Price further reduced! Now with free shipping and bonus kilt hose!

I’m looking to sell my green Stillwater shadow tartan kilt. This model appears to be discontinued, but they still sell the saffron shadow tartan, which can be viewed by clicking the following LINK. See photos of the kilt for sale below.

    Details:

    - Waist size is marked 32” but the straps can accommodate up to almost 34"
    - Original length was 24” but this has been hemmed to be approximately 22.5"
    - Green shadow tartan often looks solid, depending on the light and angle. Capturing the subtle sett in a photo was actually tricky!
    - 100% wool kilt, cotton liner, and three leather straps with metal buckles
    - Good used condition
    - shamrock and sword kilt pin included
    - lovat green, size medium, wool kilt hose included (they are a bit stained on the sole and have been darned under the cuff, but are still serviceable).

Kilt: $75 CAD or $57 USD or €51 Euro or £44 GBP

    Free shipping!

    Payment by PayPal.

    Two questions:

    1. Will it "un-hem" back to 24"? and
    2. 32" waist at natural or jeans-waist?

    Thanks

    1. Yes, the blind hem stitch could be taken out with a seam ripper (or other sharp implement). Then one would need to re-press the fabric. That is to say, it's doable but the quality of the result will depend on the skill of the person who does it!
    2. According to Stillwater's sizing guide "Our kilts are usually worn traditional-style, higher on the waist (about an inch above the navel, usually), not low on the hips. Some length adjustment is obtained by wearing the kilt higher or lower on the waist." You could, of course, choose to wear the kilt lower on your hips—depending on the size of your posterior

If this is still available I will take it. Please. Recently lost weight and my Clark Sport Kilt is a bit too large now. My wife did buy me a nice Murphy kilt (her family) but this one looks great too. Let me know...
