Hunting Stewart is a special case, the sett being so ginormous.

Here it's centered on a line, yet as you can see the tartan isn't actually centered.



Gordon is like that- if you center on one of the yellow lines the kilt looks centered, but actually the Black Watch double-track thing is not centered.
