I’m selling an older sgian dubh and throwing in a pair of kilt hose. See photos below.
Sgian dubh details:
- Metal fittings on sheath and handle have thistles, Celtic knot motifs
- Leather wrapped sheath
- Black plastic handle with woven look on front, smooth on back
- Cairngorm-esque gemstone in pommel
- Steel blade has an edge, but is a bit dull
- Approximately 3.5” blade, 8” overall
- Marked “Skean Dhu, Sheffield, GT. Britain"
- Comes in a tartan-printed cardboard box
Hose details:
- medium grey colour
- lightweight
- wool acrylic blend
This knife has a vintage character that shows wear and tear, but it’s still a lot better than your average piece of tat. It is also a real knife, rather than a “safety” sgian. Be advised that the metal fittings have patina, the edge of the stone is chipped, the blade has pitting, and the sheath has been glued.
