FS: USA Kilts Casual PA Tartan - 38"

    THIS KILT HAS BEEN SOLD

USA Kilts Casual Pennsylvania Tartan - $65

Waist measures 38" with a 23" drop length

I bought this kilt second hand from a member on this forum thinking the 2" difference in waist size wasn't that big of a deal. When I wear it, the apron hangs over too far and it just doesn't fall correctly when I stand up, alas, my unfortunate resale. If you are interested, or have any further questions, please let me know. Thank you.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. The same goes for Iowa.

Is the 38" the middle, small, or large side of the straps? Also, shipping costs within the US?

The USA casuals are a Velcro system versus straps. When I had my USA Semi Traditional kilt made, I measured 37", but I wear my kilt a little tighter so it sits as a 36" typically. When I put this one on, there is a 2" overlap where the Velcro doesn't attach. For shipping, I'll cover that cost for fellow X Marks members. It's a nice kilt and I'd like to get it to someone that will enjoy it.

May I ask, what rump measurement would this fit? I can't tell from the photos, does it have box or knife pleats?

This is a knife pleat kilt. I don't know for certain what the secondary measurement is. If you pressed me, and I had to take a wild stab at it, I'd guess a 44-48 maybe? That is totally a guess however.

I finally got home to find this kilt waiting for me. Quite nice, and despite my concerns, it looks like it will fit.

    Thanks, @farraway
