Been there, done that, don't want the t shirt! I was once addressing a group of about 150 people in our Harley Owners Group, enthusiastically speaking about another passion of mine. Stunt Kites. I'll leave it to your imagination how I scrambled that one. I knew it instantly by the shocked look on peoples faces. I tried to press on, but the guys snickering in the back of the room got me to giggling myself and I just fell apart. Three years later people still "remember the time".

Jamie I just about spat out my breakfast while reading your post. That has got to be one of the funniest oopses I have hear in a long time. To funny Brother!
As for the stunt kites, I am just getting into it and I am finding it becoming a passion as well. And yes I am talking about the KITES not the slip of the tounge version. Although that is a passion as well.
Anyway, I have a 3 meter parafoil kite and I love the force it makes on a strong windy day. Hours and hours of fun.
Cheers!

Way to go Andrew! It's amazing the full body work out you get flying a rig like that isn't it? It's almost a religious experience to control that much power and feel it surge through you. Now, if I could just figure out how to keep my kilt from becoming a parasail I'd have it made.
Jamie
p.s. Maybe kites could become a weapon of choice for the Sporranos, silently striking from above and flying off just as fast. Now how can I come up with an Anderson tartan "kilte"?
