Stella, welcome from Ontario, Canada; and well done on your first kilt. Mine is still a work in progress, but progressing it is.

Hello, Stella. Welcome from a fellow Glaswegian. I'm now living in the English midlands. Good luck with the kilt-making.

Hi Stella and a warm welcome from sunny Queensland!
More years ago than I care to remember I spent a lot of time in your fair city - flying up twice a week with British Midland from Derby for a couple of years for my employer.
Regards, Sav.

Welcome from another newbie on the left coast of the US. Otherwise known as Oregon, not California.
Obviously, no one understands the level of insanity I operate at.

Hello from LA and Welcome!
I'm glad I'm no longer the newest member of the clan! You're so brave to make your kilt yourself. I just ordered my first kilt myself - and from your hometown. A Stewart of Appin Muted from MacGregor and MacDuff.
Welcome.
Patrick

A warm Scottish welcome, Stella, from the East Midlands.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. Welcome from the highlands of central Massachusetts, New England, poor old USA. I LOVE Glasgow and can't wait to be back. Just thinking about it makes me yearn for back bacon, tablet and to be at the Ben Nevis or the Park Bar, (too many to name, really).
