Well met Emma. The variety of folk and interests (life styles also) seems the norm with many of the XMark Rabble. The kilt is the constant. I frankly enjoy the people and the information. Welcome

Welcome from Calgary, Canada. My ancestors came to Canada from Turriff, and my wife's mother was from Aboyne.

My surname is Rennie and I understand there are quite a few Rennie's in and about Turriff. My ancestors came to Canada in 1834. My wife's mother was a war bride.

Welcome!
Welcome, Emma. How great that you're in one of the few professions where you'll see kilts on a regular basis! And a dog groomer as well. Do you work on many Gordon Setters? If you weren't so far away, I'd bring Duncan to see you!
If time and professional ethics allow, it would be great if you post some of your pictures from time to time of people that you think have kilted especially well, especially creatively, or disastrously!

It's a long time since I visited Aberdeen. I had a holiday there around 1960!
Welcome from a Scotsman living in middle England.
