Kilted Kandy Kane Ball
I was in Chicago for business last weekend and my sister invited me to The Kandy Kane Ball with her and some of our friends - her one condition was that I go to the ball kilted. Not only wasn't it a problem for me, but it was a hit at the party. Many of our Chicago friends are British and we're thrilled to see me kilted up; only let down because I didn't bring my pipes.
In the end, we ended up with our picture on the event's website, as seen below.
