I suggested to the bride that my son and I could kilt up despite the others not being kilted. She considered it, but vetoed the kilts in the end. Ah well, as we all know a wedding is the bride's day and her wishes are what matters. Despite the lack of kilts it was a fine day and I have a new daughter-in-law.
