(Mods...sorry, I'm a day early on the bump...I didn't understand the date convention at first.)

    Bump #2

Even though this is a "named " tartan it is very nearly a "universal" tartan. It was designed and registered for me. The colours are not clan associated. I honestly have had emails from Scotland asking my permission to have a kilt made in the same tartan (after which I contacted Dalgliesh and the STA and asked them to open it up to the public).

This is a nice heavy wool kilt for anyone wanting an "authentic" look.

DWFII, sad to see someone part with such a nice kilt, and glad to see it find a good home. Perchance I'll get to see it at our Burns Supper.

That's definitely the plan! Today, I'm ordering him some nice kilt hose from House of Cheviot, a kilt pin and probably a new sporran, since the only one he has is brown and will clash terribly with lots of black and gray. I sure hope it all comes together the way I imagine it will. He will outshine me for certain (and that's ok) ;)
