HELP! Locked threads

I been trying searches for various things and have found almost all the threads that are pulled up are locked for me. Why would this be happening? Please help!

Threads go inactive 90 days after the last post.

So any thread which has run its course or that no one is posting to is closed.

That is what we usually suggest. A new thread will usually generate more interest than resurrecting an old one.

It is quite common for interest in a topic to be cyclic. It will be popular for a while and then fade away for a while only to become popular again two or three years later. We have seen this happen many times. It is one of the advantages of a forum with a long history.

X Marks is actually approaching a time that we are seeing a second generation of kilt wearers. A few of our members today are the sons of some of our original members.
