Did someone ask about kilts in cold weather?
On my walk home from the kilt shop last night the proprietor of The Fernwood Inn snapped this photo on his phone.

I wear the kilt because: Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

You are correct. It is not cold at all. In fact today it is well above freezing and everything is slush.
Victoria may be in Canada but it is the "Banana Belt" of the country. We usually have one or two snowfalls per year and quite often it is all gone by noon.

Here on BC's Sunshine Coast (we do see the sun every so often) we have about 16" on the ground after almost four days of steady snowfall and now it's all turning to slush as the temperature is forecast to climb to about 5C with heavy rain. This is an area unused to such snowfall (for the last 40 years at least) and municipal snow removal is minimal. I had to cancel band practice this week and several of my piping students have had to cancel. Schools have been closed all week. This may be the Sunshine Coast, but it's certainly no Costa del Sol.

Na, they don't bring out the zamboni till after the ice storm. Then all the city workers park their trucks so they can all watch the hill and hold up score cards for the best slides.
