I've seen this pin a couple of times in some pictures and was curious as if anyone has any info. It is pictured here below the CIB, the round pin with the "X".
No picture has come up I am afraid. I don't know, perhaps it is but, I suspect that it is a kilt pin with the Saint Andrew's Cross on it, which one sees in the tourist shops over here on a regular basis.

I must say that I was thinking of one of those sword type kilt pins with a badge stuck on he hilt. Not one as shown in the picture. Still, I must confess that I did not know that Xmarks had "kilt pins" of that style made in the past. I learn something new every day!
