If the belt is all you have to worry about (and know that is an issue that can be fixed) you've got it made. Good showing.

A comment that I'd like to pass along to you regarding your tie length in the first picture... absolutely perfect. The rest of your outfit is great as well.
    Cheers

    Thank you sir,

I actually collect (and wear) clothing from the 30s, 40s and 50s so short ties are nothing new to me. However, this one was a modern 52" tie and took a few attempts to get to be the correct length whereas one of my old ties would be the perfect length from the get go!

    Thanks everyone

Thank you all for the kind words!

I haven't had the opportunity to wear the kilt outside of my own property lines yet but hope to in the very near future!

I have my perhaps idiosyncratic way of dealing with necktie length, which I summed up in this little thread.

You outfit looks great. I like the stripes on the necktie "from the heart" like that.

My only thing would be to add some pizazz with some colourful hose.

    Proper!

Wearing a newish (post vietnam era) peacoat and shirt. Everything else is vintage to include my 39 dodge in the back ground.
