    I believe there are currently five RCMP pipe bands, one in each of Halifax, Ottawa, Regina, Edmonton and Vancouver. There was one in Moncton, New Brunswick some years ago, but it no longer exists. Like most police pipe bands in Canada, these bands depend primarily on civilian players.

    The link to the Moncton band is dead (at least when I click on it). Perhaps the band is no longer active, as stated by imrichmond above.

    Randy is correct. There are seven RCMP pipe bands. My information was a bit out of date. The band in Moncton is still active, but has a new website.
