A Kilted Afternoon - Celebrating National Tartan Day! (Houston - April 8, 2017)

A Kilted Afternoon - Celebrating National Tartan Day will be held on April 8, 2017, from noon until 4:00pm at Lucky's Pub,
801 St. Emmanuel Street, Houston TX 77003.

For once, this event does not conflict with the San Antonio Highland Games, so that my wife and I can attend BOTH this year! I hope to see many of you there. Here's the webby for details:

I'm giving this thread a bump because it's coming up this weekend. As it's indoors, I shouldn't melt if it rains.

I may actually try to make this event... I've even mentioned it to my wife, to get a kitchen pass for Saturday afternoon. Perhaps I'll see you there, Steve.

I hope I see you there, too, Shaun. I suspect there will be some from the Ol' School of the Houston Highland Games about.

I'm sure Jack Daw's too modest to mention it...

But he finished third in the bonnie knees contest (pictured on the left):

Here's a candid of me (ShaunMaxwell) and Jack Daw that I pilfered from the Houston Highland Games website:

It's a rare sight to see me not wearing Maxwell tartan... I decided to wear my Smith ancient (my mother's tartan) for a change!

Enjoyed visiting with with Jack Daw, Mrs. Jack Daw and XMarker Triolamj!

Yes, it is, Jock! I bought it at the same time I bought the ABF tie that you recommended. Sorry, for not replying sooner, as I have not been on the webby for awhile.
