Glad to hear it. Pointing it out was no problem. With this fabric being so rare, I thought I should point it out. I would imagine that it's much easier to find rocking horse poop. What are your plans for the fabric?
When I clear my queue (I have two more kilts to make and an alteration to do), I'll make my kilt. It will be all hodden grey. Sort of "in the spirit of" the London Scottish and the Toronto Scottish, but not an exact copy so as not to misrepresent myself as one of them.

I'm of in the same boat as you, several kilts waiting to be done but I'm anxious to start this one so I think I'll slip it in next, as well I don't want it to be a reproduction but it can't help but be similar.

Just wondering if anyone has done anything with their fabric. I haven't. I still have a Black Watch kilt to finish and a Royal Stewart kilt to make before I can do my hodden grey. That is unless I get another order.

Unfortunately not yet, finishing one kilt today and may have an order for 6 others for a pipe band for the new year which will take a big chunk of my time. I will keep you posted when I get to it.

I'd be happy to send you a swatch, with the size of the pleats I'm planning when I cut them out a piece of that would do it. If you don't track down a piece by the time I have one I'll PM you and pop it in an envelope

I have started making my kilt. I have only ripped it so far, but will mark it and begin sewing today. It ripped really nicely; very clean without a lot of threads.

I was talking to Greg White when I stopped by Margaret Morrison's in Perth. The subject of the hodden grey fabric came up and he told me about this individual purchasing the fabric. Small world.

I have finally finished my kilt. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I did self-coloured fringe on it so as not to misrepresent myself by doing blue. Not sure when I'll wear it, but will get a photo or two and post them.
