According to Microsoft, the IP address - 72.52.156.14 was blocked by their anti spam computer program because it suspecting the address was being used to send spam.

This IP address is one, of a block of addresses, that is owned and used by the company that hosts our forum. They are located in Michigan.

In checking around with other places that list known spam sources I could find nowhere else, other than this one Microsoft anti-spam program, who has any evidence that this IP was being used to spread spam.

Microsoft has said that they will clear this IP from their blocked list but it may take up to three days to take effect.

I also sent a ticket to our hosting company alerting them to one of their IP addresses being blocked and got an almost instant reply that they have dealt with the issue.

So - This issue appears to be resolved. It may take two more days for all of the emails to get through and you may get a bunch of them all at once. Do not be concerned if this happens it will just be the backlog sorting itself out.

If there is anyone who sees this thread, who has tried to register to the forum but not received the activation codes, please be patient. They will be sent out again, manually, by me.

    I apologize
to all of you for this problem.

I guess you could say that this is an example of a job being turned over to a super complex computer system. One that was not designed to check with any other sources to confirm a suspicion is indeed fact before taking unilateral action. One that is not designed to inform those involved or offer any recourse before taking action.
