beautiful sgians. I like the bogwood sheath. both are a work of art. a work of warning though. a wood sheath tends to hold moisture and it can cause discoloration or ruin a blade if stored for a long period of time.

The timber is bone dry as it gets to me and it's all sealed when I'm done, also an added liner on the inside, I went through that a few years back with a different timber I was using so lesson learnt me thinks😉

Looks like beautiful work. I like that you used the light and dark bog oak, subtle - I truly appreciate the wood work. I also like the antler and were I to have to chose I would get the antler as it is more distinctive. I don't have a sgian and would love either so I think you made a wise choice in having these "at the ready" for those who are looking for one
