Looks like a nice set of goodies you got there!
I like to take notice of construction details on older kilts like this. I couldn't help but notice that this one has belt loops in the back, and no hip buckle. Interesting.

Yeah! Feels like Christmas! I'm still surprised I finally found a traditional, quality 8 yarder in my family clan tartan, that fits my measurements and my wallet. And it came with a whole package!

Yeah, the way the belt loops are compressed flat, it appears they weren't used. From my experience, (which isn't much, compared to many here) the rise seems a bit short, and the buckles feel placed slightly lower than the upper one sits, when there are two on one side. Very comfortable though.
The yarn color is somewhere between my swatches of Locharron's Lindsay in ancient and muted.

My first truly traditional highland civilian dress outfit
So here it is, everything that came in the package, and it fits like it was made for me!!

I don't want to say I'm envious ...but ok maybe I'm envious - looks great, like you said it appears to be an excellent fit
