military surplus sporrans

Has anyone here ever handled the plain leather Royal Regiment of Scotland sporrans? I see a few on ebay and they seem to be well priced if they are of good quality. I figure it would be an ideal day dress sporran.

Before it even comes up, this would be worn plain with no insignia. Just a brown leather sporran.

All the issued sporrans will have holes in the front where the badge was, might want to stick a badge of your choosing on, just not one from the SCOTS.

Ebay sellers often have the sporrans listed in new, unissued, condition, without the badge installed (no holes yet). Some even come with the badge and hardware included (for anyone who had wanted it).

You are tight that all the used ones do have the two holes punched in them.
