Long drive home
On my way back from Williamsburg VA to Madison MS. Kilted in Khaki 511 TDK. Makes for a comfortable drive. I also made the trip From MS to VA wearing olive drab 511 TDK. Nothing like making a long drive bearable.

Not actually Friday, but Thursday at work. I had Friday off from work this week to do a little bow hunting in order to procure a Thanksgiving turkey.

Nice. Here's our turkey hunt last year. Maybe this year I'll go kilted...

It's been awhile for a Kilted Friday post for me. My new 5 yard wool Douglas arrived a couple of weeks ago.

This is what my Kilted Friday is today. Decided to dress up the Utility Kilt with my blue dress shirt and Clan Hunter neck tie. Thought my bottle green hose would compliment the green in my tie and the navy blue flashes would compliment the blue shirt.. The sporran and kilt pin add.
I try to limit the kilt to every second week on Friday and Sunday in Church. When I don't wear It, I am asked why I am not wearing it...
It is this kilt for a spell more. My Tartan Kilt is delayed until mid November.

We (the wife and I) are going to a birthday party with her High School Classmates. They all are, or will, turn Sixty years old. I decided to liven up the evening with my Army tartan kilt, suspenders, black suede sporran (I made this year) and powder blue oxford shirt, no tie, no flashes, no belt, no sgian, no vest or jacket. I now wish that I had that pair of pumpkin colored hose (a Christmas gift/hint to the wife). I have on plain black dress shoes (not visible) that will dance the night away.
I'll show them how to behave if you're over Sixty.

Sailing kilted today
The wife and I sailed from Annapolis, MD over to St Michaels, MD for the weekend. A jaunt of about 24mi which took us almost exactly 5 hours. Spent the whole day kilted and received a fair number of comments, almost all positive. No sporran while sailing as it gets in the way.
Regards,
Don
