Yesterday at work a friend of mine came walking up with my boss. Gretchen (an Exec. VP) has just returned from a month in Scotland (touring the stills) and Art (Head of Craftservice, Grip and Set Lighting).

I was wearing a PK she had not seen before, she starts with "Ohhh, thats a very handsome skirt" and Art snickered. I look at them, they where both wearing black suits so I ask "You two sharing a closet?" and Art comes back with "I might ask you the same thing". I started to say something but Art cut me off with "turn abouts fair play".

The lesson here is, if your going to be a smart azz, "think before you speak".

Later the same day I hear from behind me, "Carefull Art, theres a man in a skirt behind you" I turn and see the V.P. incharge of back lot crafts standing behind me (Art's boss).
I looked down at his pants and said "Nice slacks" to which he laughed and thanked me.

I believe if its mocking and light hearted theres no harm.
