Kilted at work.... finally!
I've not been able to wear my kilt for a long while, due to putting on far too many pounds. However, after 3 long long months of strict dieting, I'm back down to the right weight and girth to permit me to strap on my kilt once again. So, considering that my current workplace has no qualms about me wearing my kilt to work, I "celebrated" my dieting success by wearing my kilt to work. And, luckily for me, it was very well received by many of my colleagues and supervisors. So this shouldn't be the last time I wear my kilt to work!

I got my Rannoch hose in Ancient blue today! The color looks different in my pic than they do in person. For some reason, none of my blues seem to match well in the pic:

Before going out for dinner at a Shabu Shabu place, I decided to change to my Sterling casual kilt from USAK. It helped break up my blues.

kilted tue-thu-friday
With a couple of ceremonial events this week the AB modern saw two days with grey crail and vest with DIY mink sporran. Friday casual with blue cable-knit and wingtip boots. A good, comfortably attired week.

I was feeling red for Kilted Friday. I picked up a new Wallace Sport Kilt and I moved my Disney pin onto it. I also recently got some House of Cheviot Lewis hose in tartan red.

An appropriate kilt pin since Mickey celebrates his 89th birthday, today.
