    A better hunter

My first attempt at making a hunter sporran allowed me to work out the do's and don't's in terms of construction. The result was ok-ish, but not good enough to wear.

So this is my second attempt - better stitching, more harmonious overall.

Good symmetry. Is there enough room inside for all the things you need to carry? If yes, then don't change a thing unless you want to have a different color or design.

    Looks good.

Hunting sporrans took me a few tries to work out the bugs in my pattern also. Now I have two that I like, one more classic looking and the other that holds more.

I've always liked the look of hunting sporrans, and that one's a beauty. My only reservation is that any sporran with a cantle has so much space from which stuff will fall out, so for that reason, while I admire the hunters, I prefer to use sporrans with a flap of some sort over the front to keep my stuff in. (They fit under my belly better too!)

Can you show us the inside, and how it closes? Does it hang from one hanger or two?
    It's really very nice looking.
