We've had a fair bit of snow in England for the last few days. Probably we have less equipment to clear it than you do in Canada. Turning to slush now!

I remember days like that when I was in Michigan... don't know if I will ever get my back straight after spending so many hours shoveling.

I like going for a walk in the lightly falling snow. I will have to try it wearing the Kilt. I live in a City that is quite Diverse, I don't think anyone would give me a second look if I wore my Kilt in the snow.

Padre.... contrary to your weather in Ontario we are setting record temps in Alberta. Although the dry ground is a hazard for fires.

One day last week we had a dusting of snow; very rare down here in the SW-US. Alas, it was melted away before mid-morning.

Here in coastal North Carolina, USA, we rarely get snow. That is not to say that we do not get bitter cold but, the way it usually works here is that it get very dry then very cold then it warms up and rains (any where from 1-4 inches) then it turns bitter again and all the water from the rain freezes. Rinse and repeat. It is just as well that we don't get much snow because the people here simply lose their mind if there is any snow, even if it melts on contact with the earth. They seem to think that it is the dawning of the new ice age.

Snow is pretty rare here - last time there was a lot of snow over almost the whole country there was a satellite picture which showed Britain looking like an iced biscuit - with us at the bottom edge as a tiny bit that got missed out.
It does get fairly cold - there are scraping frost off the car mornings - but they are rather early this year, so there is hope for a bit of snow.
I make snow Ruperts - remember Rupert the Bear? I used to get an annual at Christmas in the mid 1950s. Since moving to Poole, however I also make - if there is enough of a fall, a couple of dinosnows in front of the house - which faces North and so they last for ages if pressed hard enough to alter the snow to ice.
It must be fairly cold - I've brought out my big jumper.

Tomorrow we're supposed to get downright cold for a few days...going as low as 26(C) by next Thursday! Otherwise the past few days have hovered steady at 33 (or so the weather forecast told me; not sure what the actual temp was). We even had unseasonable rain two days in a row last week. So far this winter strikes me as cooler than last year.
No, I do not in any way, shape, or form miss snow!

In Michigan, may I assume you mean Fahrenheit?
It's still coming down. I just came in from clearing the laneway for about the sixth time since it started.
