    4 kilts - 2 jackets for sale.

    Due to health issues one of my long time customers must part with the majority of his kilt wardrobe.
    As his health does not give him the ability to post on the forum himself he asked me to photograph, describe, and post them for sale on his behalf.

    Up first is one of my Kilt Kut Suit Coats.

    The jacket is my own design made in the UK by Vernon Bros. in 2014
    3 button front . No epaulettes, Regular jacket 3 button open cuff. plain pocket flaps. Slightly fuller under the arms.
    This jacket is made from Cheviot/Charcoal Tweed from Marton Mills.
    Size is a stock 40 Short.
    Includes matching 5 button vest.

    This jacket is a Tweed Argyle style.

    This is a stock Tweed Argyle style made in the UK by Vernon Bros. in 2014
    Made from Chevoit/Mocha Herringbone weave from Marton Mills.
    Horn buttons. Includes matching 5 button vest.
    Size is a stock 40 short.

    He also has six kilts from me that he purchased over the years. He has decided to keep two and offer these 4 for sale.

    These four kilts were made by Freedom Kilts.

    Kilt no. 1 is made from Marton Mills 13oz Bute range fabric. The Tartan is the Victoria, City of Gardens which I designed in 2009.

    This kilt was made in 2014 and was originally one of my Off-The-Rack kilts which has been hemmed from 24" to 20.75". It could be let back down to 24".
    Waist = 38.5" to the center strap hole.
    Hips = 42.5"
    Fell = 8"
    Drop = 20.75"
    Front Slope = 0"
    Rear Slope = 0"

    This kilt is fastened with two brown leather straps and brass buckles. The straps and buckles are mounted on a trouser like waistband. The left strap is internal so there is not hole in the kilt.
    Pleated to the Yellow stripe.

    This kilt has a single pocket. One of my Under-Apron Pockets.
    (Although it looks off-center in this photo the pocket is actually centered on the Under Apron.)

    The next kilt is made from 12oz Poly/Rayon blend known as P/V woven by Marton Mills.
    The Tartan is our own X Marks Tartan.

    This kilt has a total length of 20". (It has not been hemmed)
    Waist of 38"
    Hips = 43"
    Fell = 7"
    Drop = 20.75"
    Front Slope = -.5"
    Rear Slope = 0"

    Pleated to the yellow stripe.
    Velcro fastenings on a trouser waistband.
    3 pockets - 2 Side Slash and 1 Under-Apron Pocket.

    The next kilt is made from the Isle of Skye Tartan.
    Fabric is 12oz Poly/Rayon blend woven by Marton Mills.

    Fastened with Velcro on a trouser waistband.
    This kilt has 2 side Slash Pockets and an Under-Apron pocket.
    The hem is Marton Mills fringed selvedge.

    And finally there is a kilt made from the Irish, Antrim County Crest Tartan. Woven in 13oz wool by Marton Mills.

    Waist = 37"
    Hips = 42"
    Fell = 7.25"
    Drop = 20"

    Sorry to hear of his misfortune. I only wish the items were my size.

    They all look magnificent; I wish I had the budget. More importantly, I am very sorry to hear about your customer's health issues.

    Is the actual colour of the Vernon Bros Kilt Kut jacket close to this?
