[QUOTE=Woodsman;1351280]Yes I need hiking in my life too as restorative physically as well as mentally. And hiking whilst kilted does it best. Grizzbass, what kilt is that you wear? And is that patches that you have sewn onto the front apron. Seems like a good idea. It's remaniscent of a scouting uniform. Thanks for posting.[/QUOT

I actually don't know the brand. I got it at the Queen Mary several years ago. It's an alt-kilt in theory. I liked the big pockets on this one and it's worn pretty well. As you can see I do have a few scout patches on it but it's because you need the taurdus and big foot. Most are either heritage, national park or grizzly bears. I did find a patch I could convert to look like grizzly my dog. I hope you can find a great place to hike. The scenery, sounds and smells of nature are quite therapeutic. Cool! I like the Irish Brigade patch and the bear patches. How about the California state flag? Truly a kilt with a number of hikes under its belt! Happy hiking!
