During Wednesday evening's bluegrass jam one of the guys got a call that his sister-in-law was gone, and I figured the funeral for
tomorrow at two, and I just found out I was right. At two, in Gainesville. I kind of have to go. Today is the anniversary of both
his marriage and his wife's death a couple of years ago. I sang for her funeral. Since then he's lost two sisters and a brother.
Apologies, but I don't think I can skip it. Maybe we can get in another before Heather goes back out.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend's loss, Michael. I certainly understand that this takes precedence for you over a get together for lunch. My condolences.
Would have loved to have been with you. Apologies for missing; that proved to be the correct call. I called Wil to see how it went,
only to find work didn't let him go. I'm glad Heather made it; as I suggested above, maybe we can do something else while she's here
and Wil and I, and maybe Gil, can make it. I thought the Saturday afternoon would be a good choice on time; oh, well. Glad you
guys enjoyed.
I think Heather had to fly back out last Sunday. She didn't say when she would next be free and in town. I thought a Saturday afternoon would have been a good time for more as well, but apparently not this past one!
Oh well, I'm more than happy to meet up again if anyone else wants to.
