Barelyjuice
Well, after looking through breleyjuice's webstie, hearing the available MP3's on the site, I decided I couldn't live without a disc. So, I emailed Jimmy Carbomb, he sent me to Kyf Brewer, and now, I have Barleyjuice's "another round," as well as some stickers for the local wawa's door... turns out Kyf lives in my hometown! CRAZY ****! Anyway, these guys are one of the best bands I've heard out there. Lyrically, and musically, they just kill! If you are a fan of flogging molly, or just traditional celtic music, or celtic-american style folk rock, these guys are for you, in all seriousness. Head over to the barleystore and pick yourself up a copy of a CD. You won't be dissapointed in the LEAST.

Hmmm I didn't notice the MP3's online. I'll have to look for that again.
Jimmy played one song with the Hooligans on saturday night. My memory of it is a little fuzzy but I was having a good time and I believe that he looked to be having a good time as well. But when pressed, he couldn't rightfully tell me when I could get a chance to experience Barleyjuice live.

Dang Swat! Kyf GAVE you the CD? It must be nice to be liked by the guy. I get BILLED for every gig!
I'll also "thank you" for the kind words, in the name of all the REAL musicians in the band. Then... I'll thank you from me too.
Memorize the lyrics so that you can sing along (occasionally on-stage) with us. It won't be long before the rehearsals and recordings are over. We'll be back in the saddle before you know it.

And now you know where USAKilts got the motto from! Here's this upstart kilt company with an advertising budget of nothing. One Barleyjuice song, some bumper stickers, and some T-shirts later... and voila!
When Kyf penned the lyrics, it was to have fun with the audience at the concerts. Rather than answer "the questions" all night... just sing about it once!

I owe a HUGE thank-you to the members of Barleyjuice, for saving this sap in Idaho a couple hundred bucks by allowing me to use some of their music in a short film I made, at no charge. That's a remarkable thing these days, where everybody wants their cut, and it's ususally pretty costly per song. Like it wasn't bad enough that the entire budget for my movie had to come out of my pocket (stupid school projects.) :P
I found a site that offers downloads of Barleyjuice songs for purchase. I really hope that the Barleyjuice guys get their cut of the money when you do it that way. But, you can listen to 2 minute segments of each song, so you guys can get a better idea of what the fantastic Barleyjuice sound like.

Rufus, since you're using music from "The Juice", I'll assume that the film was NOT about Oriental Cuisine.
Know that you're in good company. The show "King of the Hill" used us too. The episode "Cheer Factor", when Peggy Hill coaches the cheerleaders, has Bobby Hill coming out at half-time during a football game dressed-up as a drunken leprechaun. The music is Barleyjuice's "Jig Set".
As for making any money with this stuff, it's all relative I suppose. In actuality, the bartenders in the region are getting richer... not us!

Jimmy,
Any hints on translating the chorus?
