I've been wearing flat-caps for ages. I have a couple from Hannah, that I dearly love (one worn to tatters). I think they look good with the kilt, which I guess is fine for me. I'm American, not Scottish nor Irish. I wear the kilt because I like it, I wear the hat because I like it. I wear them together because I like them together. I sometimes get compliments on the two in the same sentence. Unless you're in some setting with a strict dress code, or hold to such yourself, wear what you like.

...that way I will be able to recognize you at the festival. If the balmoral I ordered doesn't work out I will also be wearing a flat cap. Unless it's hot weather, in that case I plan to wear my pith helmet to show my English heritage and keep my head cool at the same time.

Lmao, thanks for the pictures... they're so pretty!
Never run or do jumping jacks while wearing a heavy sporran

The pith helmet was worn by Scottish, Welsh, Irish and English when needed.

I’ve worn a Wolsey style sun helmet in Yuma, Arizona in September and it did a pretty good job. It has a larger brim than that style.

Fist picture of you seated; what's that you're holding? An inquiring mind wants to know.

That question begs another. When will you be offering footless hose from your machine?
