Photobucket alternative
I recently ran across a free photo sharing site that I've been using to post images to the forum lately.
I have no connection to this company. It's pretty basic, but seems to work well enough.
Might be a worthy alternative, as it allows you to easily copy links to forums, etc.

That is the one I use as well.
No endorsement intended, but it works for me since I took all my photos off Photobucket.

I would add that, as on most free sites, there is a big button that screams "Click Here". Don't click here, unless you want to buy something they're selling. They put it there to make you think you have to do that for the free service: in this case photo sharing. Just follow the instructions for uploading and sharing the photo(s) and you should be OK, but be on the look out for when they try to trap you into going to a page that will try to sell you something you are probably not interested in. If you accidentally go to an unwanted page you will probably be in no danger, but it will waste your valuable time.

I chose postimage simply because there were no links to other sites selling stuff.

I have also started to use Postimage.
I like the different options when when sharing such as thumbnail for a forum post.
It probably has a lot of other features this technically inept user doesn’t understand and hence doesn’t bother with.

me too
One of the things I always enjoyed about this site was the photos, both posting and viewing. I never used photo bucket but I did have a time when sometimes I could post a photo from my computer, and other times even using the same method I would get a error message......this happened so often I was about to give up .......until I found post img.......never a problem since
I don't know if there is a limit on how many photos can be stored on post img, but so far that hasn't been a issue with the 20 -25 photos I have on there

There were such links when I went there. Maybe it periodically changes?

I have just tried three different spellings.
Postimage.org
Postimg.org
and
Postimages.org
And they all go to the same site and I see my same images on each.
And I can see no links to other sites selling stuff on either.
