    No apparent markings...I guess "India" was filed off at some point. Poorly made blade. Terrible condition - artificially "aged" - and a poor description. Asking far too much for a suspect piece, IMHO.

    Well, I was struck right off with the comment that it's 17th or 18th century Victorian. That's a bit of rewriting history, as the Victorian era was in the 19th century.
