Happy to share Steve. I download my photos onto my old PC that has Photoshop 2006. I am able to size and crop, as well as change the pixel dimensions. I then transfer the finished photo to a thumb drive to store before I post to the site.

For other images, I use a program titled, "snipping tool" that lets me downsize a photo to make a smaller version. I can usually get those images to load easily. I took a long time to learn these programs before I became comfortable, but the end result has offered me files of my own for reference.

I hope any of this info helps members. Disclaimer: My wife is a computer programmer and she trained my dense brain (I ask, "How high? when she says jump").

Tarheel........Check out GIMP (Graphics Image Manipulation Program.... gimp.org). It's an open source programme. I discovered is, 12+ years ago, when I started running a Linux box. Works great for resizing, straightening out out of square images, & does photo touch up. One needs to learn a few things, overall it's much easier than PhotoShop. At no cost. Also, seems to be easier on the processor.
