Bit of Piping at a friend's wedding
Over our last bank holiday weekend here in the UK, My friends Kim and Dibs got married in a beautiful 10th century church next to Tutbury Castle. They asked me to do a bit of piping for them, as they are both WW2 reenactors the wedding had a 40's theme
Any who here's me piping in the groom

Well done! I would be interested in seeing a closeup of the emblem on your bag cover, if that's convenient.

Nice photo! I've always admired that Isle of Skye tartan, and the colour of your hose pairs very nicely with it.
Sort of a random question, and I hope it isn't rude, but who made the shoes you're wearing? They look very much like the pair I have from Sanders & Sanders (their "Braemar" Highland brogue shoe). It's a standard uniform shoe, of course, so I'm sure a lot of makers produce a version. But I'm always curious to find new sources and info for quality-made traditional style shoes.

Very smartly turned-out! Excellent job.
I dabble in WWII re-enacting. Over the years I've gradually put together a fairly accurate WWII Black Watch piper's kit. About the only time it gets worn is at the annual Fort MacArthur gathering.
