We just enjoyed a tasting last night of Bowmore 12, Ardbeg 10, and Glencoyne 12.
I'd had Ardbeg and have enjoyed it, but Glencoyne and Bowmore were new experiences for me.
Of the three, the Ardbeg is my favorite because it balances peat pretty well.
The Bowmore was extremely smokey and is the closest thing to smoked ribs I've ever tasted except for smoked ribs themselves.
The Glencoyne was a nice non-peated alternative to the other two. It has a nice smooth finish and an aftertaste that I was happy to let linger for a while.
Cheers!
