Umm - I meant that she regrets not taking her pipes, not that she regrets going to Antarctica!! Ah, grammar.....

south georgia...
My daughter took her chanter but left her pipes home when she went to Antarctica (which she regrets). She did get to play the South Georgia Whaling Song on her chanter on South Georgia Island, though, which was fun.
Please tell your daughter that this kilted lad is VERY jealous of her travels!
Did she get to see Sir Ernest's grave?
Cheers,
T.

Yes, she did. It's not far from there where she played her chanter.

Wow!
Wow, Barb, I am in awe!
Shackelton was a very interesting fellow to say the least -- I imagine you and your daughter have seen the A & E mini-series more than once! (I own it on DVD!)
Now I'm going to have to find the South Georgia Whaling Song on a CD -- do you know of any?
Cheers,
T.

barb, your trick sounds great to put the pleatings on the leg. the hand sewn pleatings were the main problem for my mother.
she then just stitched my kilts with her machine. as she got lot of sewiing work, and had no experinece in hand stitching pleats i couldīnt talk her into stitching my pleats by hand.
but now that she made my last kilts nearly two years ago and regarded that i bought i few tartans waiting for their transformation into a kilt, i will remind her again.
i ve to try your cold ice trick bubba. i m sure it really helpful!
