Tattersall Shirts
I purchased a couple of shirts from Samuel Windsor a few months ago, (after learning of them here,) and was very pleased. They were however the more expensive variety, (there seem to be two different levels in price.) Has anyone bought any of the lower priced shirts as well as the upper tier, and if so, is there any difference in the quality of fabric or construction?
Thanks,
David

Richrail........Ta, for the link. My wife saw a couple of items she suggested I buy, & that the prices are good. For me, I found something I've wanted for years....the black corduroy Mariner Cap. AKA, the Jackie Stewart cap.

If you want them for holiday gifts, you might want to order now. I placed my order a week ago, and today I got a phone call from them saying that my boots are back-ordered until late October. (I didn't answer, as it came up "restricted" on my caller ID, but they left a voice mail.) This, despite their website showing that 10 were in stock when I ordered, and still showing 7 in stock today. Apparently their website cannot be trusted for accuracy.
I'm a bit miffed that they charged my credit card as soon as I placed the order, without confirming that they had the item in stock. On many websites it is customary not to charge the card until the item ships, but apparently Samuel Windsor does not practise this safeguard.
At this point, I have the option to cancel my order or wait ..and wait ... and wait for the backorder to be filled. I'm not certain yet which way I'll go, but it's not leaving a pleasant taste in my mouth. I was very happy with the shirts I ordered from them, though, so perhaps I should give them the benefit of the doubt.

My black country boots finally arrived yesterday! The quality is outstanding for the price. Better than I expected, in fact. They were slightly roomy in the foot bed, but the addition of some Dr. Scholl's pads (which I like to have in all my footwear) make them a perfect fit. I'm very pleased with them.
