Kilt jacket with Club-Crest?

I´m wondering why i didn´t find information about Kilt jackets with Club-Crest?

Is it "forbidden" or only uncommon?

Ecaxtly to have Kilt & Jacket as "Club-Wear" was the background of my question.

If the club has a badge that is to be worn on a garment at club functions, it would seem to me that it has rules of dress? What do the club rules say about the kilt?

It is nothing defined in the club rules for that - it's just an idea to decide it for the future.

I have. Not worn by the locals though. Clan crests are very commonly worn on the breast pocket of both kilt jackets and blazers, worn with the Clan kilt pin, worn with the Clan badge on the SD, worn with the Clan lapel badge, worn with the Clan badge tie, worn with the Clan bonnet badge, with the Clan badge on the sporran, withthe Clan badge cuff links, with the Clan badge tie pin and yes, with the Clan tartan kilt! I think we get the message that visitors are in town and who they are batting for.

As an afterthought, the traditional way to show a club membership is to simply wear a club tie with your kilt attire.

I also do see the occasional bowles/curling club type badge on a visiting blazer breast pocket with the kilt too.

Surely. It´s important for many Club-Members to show their identity and membership.

OK, on Blazer, but you´ve never seen it on "typical" Kilt-Jackets?

In your opinion - would it be blaspheme to wear it there?

I tried to add an afterthought by iPhone to my post above, but it must have arrived too late for you to see. No matter.

I do see quite a few Clan badges, but not so many Club badges on kilt jackets -----even tweed kilt jackets-----of visitors and it does look strange to my eyes. Rather unnecessary in fact. The traditional British/Scottish way is to proudly wear a club tie. There are quite a few threads here about the effectiveness of club/university/college/Regimental ties with kilt attire. In passing, we in the UK take a very dim view of people wearing ties that they are not entitled too.

Clan badges, yes. But I have never seen an embroidered "club/society badge" on a kilt jacket breast pocket.
