    Birthday booze

    In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day today (and my birthday yesterday, whence came this fine gift), tonight's offering is a William Cadenhead Islay 8 y.o. at cask strength (59.5 % ABV).

    Delightful stuff. Really a lot less impression of "bare nekkid alky" than one might expect at this distillation.
