Great turn around time Phil! Glad to hear that it turned out quicker than you had anticipated.

Add Robert's quality work and speed with the OUTSTANDING sporrans that our Norwegian brother kicks out and you've got a GREAT combination!

I'm STILL looking for all the stuff that I put in the sporran the other night. I think I may have accidentally pocketed a midget at the bar.

    Happy for you....sad for me.

I finally found and ordered two sporran belts for my Freelander Sporrans from the lady at Craigie...so far she hasn't been able to follow through on her delivery promises.

Which means either I'm not gonna be able to wear my new Kathy's Kilt to holiday parties this weekend, or I'm gonna have to haunt my only resource here in the canyonlands, a small WalMart, for a purse strap with clips on the end and a buckle in the middle that might fit my belly. Probably have to buy the whole purse...

Funny, how much I've spent for the kilt, sweater, sporran, hose, etc and I can't wear it for want of a strap...coyote's afoot.

Saw the RKilt strap post just after ordering from Craigie...

Assuming fetal position, sucking thumb, weeping, and hoping the postman is kind...two more days of hope.

But realistically, they didn't arrive after she called to apologize for the delay and say she'd get right to them. My little straps are way down the list for the holiday rush.

Ron, even if you ordered from me I'm not sure how quick the post would get to you. When Phil asked me to make the belt I had all the supplies at hand and was able to take a break from kilts and make him a belt. Caught the post at the right time and it was delivered the next day. I was surprised. but shipping to the USA at this time of year could be costly, and not sure how long it would take to be honest.
but maybe you will get your belts from Craigie in time for New Years :P

Same here. It has been a little more than three weeks since my order was placed for a strap that was purportedly in stock and ready to ship. I emailed last week inquiring after it and was essentially told the same thing you were told, Ron. Definitely not impressed.

Thanks guys, sounds like I'll have to improvise or wait.

Playing around with options last night I found that the shoulder strap to my Land's End briefcase has clips on both ends, even a nice shoulder pad in the middle. Its the right length and adjustable. Tan webbing type cloth...kinda wide...but tried it. Didn't look too bad....silly...different...unusual...would probably stroke out Traditionalists...but workable.

Off to the thrift store and WalMarche for narrower leather purse straps first.

Somewhere, there's a spiritual message about the dissappointment that goes with gearing up kilted....
