    Beautiful stuff she's playing. Thanks for sharing this. I'd never heard of her before.

    In that second video you posted, what kind of pipes is she playing? The bellows under her right arm are very interesting.

    They are often called "cauld wind pipes" in Scotland i.e. blown with a bellows rather than the warm breath of the Great Highland Bagpipe. Variations were found all over lowland Scotland and the north of England and are experiencing a resurgence just now thanks to Brighde (Bridget) and others.

    Brighde comes from a Gaelic speaking musical and artistic family on Skye. She started on the GHB - here she is aged 10 - the pipes are as big as she is!
