I have only once been asked what my tartan is. I had to tell him no, it's not the Black Watch. As I so far have only one tartan, I managed to find a Macinlay modern (thanks Rocky). My maternal grandfather's tartan. I think my next one's going to be a Scottish National. The Macinlay is uncommon enough that I keep expecting to me confused with an Armstrong, but it hasn't happened yet.
